Bundeswehr MP2 Mag Pouch
This is a German Army magazine pouch built for the MP2, the Bundeswehr's designation for the Uzi submachine gun. It keeps MP2 magazines covered and secured on the wearer's load-bearing kit. The pouch suits Uzi owners, collectors of German issue gear, and reenactors building an accurate post-Cold War Bundeswehr loadout.

- Sized For MP2 Magazines — The inside of the flap is stamped "Mag. MP2", marking it as the issue pouch for Uzi-pattern magazines.
- Cordura Nylon Shell — Cordura is a heavy, tightly woven nylon that resists abrasion far better than ordinary canvas.
- Flecktarn Camouflage — The pouch is printed in Flecktarn, the German five-color "spotted" pattern of greens, browns and black worn by the Bundeswehr.
- Quick-Release Flap Buckle — A webbing strap on the lid feeds into a molded plastic catch on the front, so the flap opens with one pull and closes without fumbling.
- KTS 90 Rear Clip Plate — A molded plastic plate with keyhole slots on the back mounts the pouch to the Koppeltragesystem 90, the German Army's belt-based load-carrying system.
- Drain Eyelets — Two metal eyelets in the base let water run out instead of pooling around the magazines.
- Bound Edges — Olive tape binding runs around the seams and flap edge to stop the fabric from fraying.
- NSN Marked — The flap carries the stock number 8465-12-327-9246 along with a dated maker's label.
Issue Detail And Fit
The maker's label inside the flap reads Schulze-Brakel with a 12/00 date, which places this pouch in Bundeswehr production from December 2000. The pouch measures roughly 5 by 8 inches. Attachment is by the rear KTS 90 clip plate rather than belt loops or MOLLE straps, so it is best paired with German KTS 90 belts and harnesses or kept as a correct-period collector piece.

killer dealI snagged this pouch for my UZI mags and it’s exactly what I hoped for real German Flecktarn, not some knockoff. The Cordura is thick and feels like it’ll last forever. Fits three 32-round mags no problem, and the belt loops are sturdy enough for my duty belt. For seven bucks, it’s a steal if you’re into milsurp or just need a tough little pouch. Only downside? The camo is so good I keep losing it in my garage.

Excellent conditionThese pouches are in perfect shape and the Flecktarn pattern looks great. I use mine to hold extra batteries and tools instead of magazines, and it works perfectly.

Great retro magazine pouch!I stumbled across these at a fantastic price and ordered them to go on my retro German field gear. The magazine pouches are designed for the German attachment to the field belt and fit right on. The magazine pouches hold Uzi or straight MP-5 magazines or other items of similar size (flashlights, water bottles, etc…). The camouflage pattern is slightly different than my other pouches but is only noticeable when side by side. Pouches are strong and sturdy and should stand up to years of use. Buy them while you can!
Well made- typical German engineering!
The attachments probably only fit the German field gear and belts (I haven't tried to see if they could be modified to fit anything else but they are specific to the German field gear.
