Maglite Solitaire 1AAA Black Flashlight

Solitaire AAA Keychain Light

The Maglite Solitaire is a pocket-size flashlight that runs on a single AAA battery and rides on your keys, so you have light for keyholes, dark car footwells, power cuts and checking kit in a dim tent. It comes in black with a braided cord key lanyard and an Energizer AAA battery, packed in a hinged presentation box. It is a backup and everyday-carry light. It is not meant for searching a field at distance, and the ratings below show exactly what it does.

Features

• Single AAA Power — One AAA cell, the slim size sold at almost any gas station or grocery store, powers the light, and one is included.
• 2 Lumen Output — Lumens measure total light output, and 2 lumens is a soft, close-range light suited to reading a lock, a map or a gauge.
• 20 m Beam Distance — The beam reaches about 66 ft (20 m) before it drops to the brightness of a full moon, with a peak beam intensity of 97 candela at its center.
• 3 Hr 45 Min Run Time — Rated run time on one battery is 3 hours 45 minutes on its high setting under the FL1 test.
• Water Resistant — Rated to handle rain and splashes, so a wet day outdoors will not put it out of action.
• 1 m Drop Rating — Tested to survive a fall of about 3.3 ft (1 m), the kind of drop you get when keys slip out of your hand.
• Ridged Grip Body — Fine lengthwise grooves along the barrel and a knurled ring at the head give your fingers purchase, even with cold or wet hands.
• Lanyard Eye Tail Cap — A pierced eye at the tail takes the included braided cord lanyard and split ring, so the light hangs from your key ring or a pack zipper.
• Presentation Box — It ships in a hinged, foam-lined Maglite case with molded slots for the light, battery and lanyard, which makes it easy to give as a gift.

Rated To FL1 Standard

Maglite publishes the Solitaire's numbers to the FL1 standard, a common flashlight testing protocol that lets you compare beam distance, output, run time and toughness directly against other brands' lights. The head carries the Solitaire name, the Maglite logo and a USA marking. With a slim barrel, a keyring mount and one AAA cell, it adds little bulk to a key set and works as a backup to a larger primary light.
