The Mil-Spec Monkey Oni Head Patch is a morale patch, a non-issue patch worn on gear for personal expression rather than rank or unit. The design is a modern, tattoo-style take on the oni, the horned demon of Japanese folklore, drawn by guest artist Absorb81. A hook backing lets it go on any loop panel, so it moves easily between a pack, a cap and a plate carrier.

Fit and Construction

Each color in the design is a separate raised layer of PVC, which gives the mask its depth and keeps the edges crisp. The hook backing is stitched through the PVC border, not glued, so it holds up to repeated removal. It attaches to any standard loop surface, including the panels on most tactical caps, backpacks, range bags and plate carriers.
