This ProMag magazine holds ten rounds of 9mm Luger for the Ruger SR9 and SR9C. Many owners use it as a spare for range days and practice, so they can shoot longer before reloading. Others need it because local law caps magazine capacity at ten. The body is steel and the follower and baseplate are polymer, the same basic layout as a factory pistol magazine.
