Patch-Ready Operator Cap

The Rothco Tactical Operator Cap is a baseball-style field cap built to carry patches. Loop panels on the front, back and crown give you places to mount unit insignia, flags, morale patches or name tapes, and you can swap them as often as you like. It suits range days, airsoft, hunting and everyday wear, and the Total Terrain Camo print matches a camouflage kit.

Features

• Front Loop Panel — A large rectangle of loop fabric, the soft half of a hook-and-loop (Velcro-style) fastener, sits on the front so any hook-backed patch presses on and peels off.
• Rear Loop Strip — A long loop strip above the back opening takes a name tape, blood type tab or flag patch.
• Crown Loop Pad — A small loop square at the top of the crown, where a button would usually sit, holds one more small patch or marker.
• Total Terrain Camo — Rothco's pattern mixes green, tan, brown and pale gray shapes to blend into mixed woodland and open terrain.
• Cotton-Polyester Blend — Cotton keeps the cap soft and breathable, and polyester adds strength and helps it hold its shape through washing.
• Ventilation Eyelets — Stitched eyelets in the crown panels let heat escape on warm days.
• Stitched Pre-Curved Bill — Rows of stitching stiffen the curved brim so it keeps shading your eyes after repeated wear.
• Rear Strap Closure — A fabric strap across the back opening lets you set the fit.

Build And Fit

Rothco makes the cap from a cotton and polyester blend in a twill weave, with the camo print running across every panel, the bill and the rear strap. The loop panels are stitched down flat, so the cap looks clean with no patches mounted. Any standard hook-backed patch will attach to the front, rear and crown panels.
