Threaded LCP II Barrel

This factory Ruger kit replaces the standard barrel on an LCP II .22 LR pistol with a threaded one, so you can mount a suppressor or muzzle device on the compact rimfire. The barrel is stainless steel with a black threaded section at the muzzle. Ruger includes the parts needed for the swap: a thread protector, a red recoil spring, an adapter and a 7/16-inch wrench. It suits LCP II .22 owners who want to shoot suppressed at the range or run a muzzle device on their pocket pistol.

Fit and Installation

The kit is made for Ruger LCP II pistols chambered in .22 LR and is not intended for the centerfire .380 ACP LCP II. Installation is a user-level parts swap: remove the factory barrel and spring, fit the threaded barrel with the red recoil spring, and use the thread protector whenever nothing is mounted. Before mounting a suppressor or muzzle device, confirm it is threaded 1/2"-28.
