Mark I Factory Magazine
This is Ruger's own replacement magazine for the original Mark I .22 pistol, holding 9 rounds of .22 Long Rifle. Many Mark I owners have only the magazine that came with the gun, and an older magazine with a worn spring or a dented feed lip is a common cause of misfeeds. A factory spare puts the pistol back on spec and gives you a second magazine to load while you shoot the first.
Features
- Factory OEM Part — Ruger made it for its own pistol, so OEM here means original manufacturer equipment rather than an aftermarket copy.
- 9-Round Capacity — Holds nine .22 Long Rifle cartridges, the standard load for the Mark I.
- .22 Long Rifle Caliber — Built around the .22 LR rimfire cartridge used for target shooting, plinking and small game.
- Blued Steel Body — The tube has a blued finish, a dark oxidized coating that helps the steel resist rust.
- Stainless Steel Follower — The follower, the plate the spring pushes up beneath the rounds, is stainless steel.
- Side Load Assist Button — A button rides in the slot on the side so you can pull the follower down with your thumb and drop rounds in without fighting the spring.
- Long Viewing Slot — A slot runs most of the length of the body, giving you a quick look at how far down the follower sits.
- Polymer Base Plate — A light gray polymer base plate closes the bottom and has a ridged tab for grip when seating or stripping the magazine.
Fit And Compatibility
This magazine fits the Ruger Mark I, sometimes called the Old Style, and nothing later. It is not compatible with the Mark II, Mark III, Mark IV or 22/45 pistols, which use different magazine designs. If your pistol's roll mark or manual doesn't say Mark I, confirm the model before ordering.
