The Schmeisser ARK1 is a folding knife built for rescue work and everyday carry. Along with the blade, the handle has a seatbelt cutter and a glass breaker, so one tool covers cutting and getting out of a vehicle in an emergency. It suits drivers, first responders and anyone who keeps a knife clipped in a pocket and wants it to do more than open boxes.

Features

• D2 Steel Blade — The blade is stamped D2, a high-carbon tool steel known for holding an edge longer than common stainless knife steels.
• Drop-Point Profile — The spine curves gently down to the tip, giving a strong point and a long belly for slicing.
• Black Blade Finish — A dark finish covers the blade, with the ARK1 model name and Schmeisser logo marked near the pivot.
• Flipper Tab — A small tab on the back of the blade lets you swing it open with one finger, and it sits as a finger guard once the knife is open.
• Seatbelt Cutter — A recessed hook notch near the butt of the handle slices through belts and straps while keeping the edge away from skin.
• Glass Breaker Tip — A hardened pointed tip at the end of the handle concentrates force for breaking a side window.
• Textured Handle Scales — Black scales carry a raised scale-pattern texture for a secure grip with wet or gloved hands.
• Torx Hardware — The handle is assembled with Torx screws, the six-point star heads that resist stripping, so you can adjust and maintain it yourself.
• Pocket Clip — A black steel clip holds the knife upright in a pocket or on a pack strap.
• Numbered Spine — The back of the handle is stamped with an individual number, #1580 on the example shown.

What Comes With It

The ARK1 ships in a zippered black nylon case with an internal slip pocket for the knife, a second pocket for small items and an elastic loop for a light or pen. Inside you also get two Torx screwdrivers and a flat open-end wrench for keeping the hardware tight. A Schmeisser patch printed with the line "The decision is mine...!" is included as well.
