The Swiss M70 Rucksack with Straps is an authentic Swiss army rucksack with some modifications. Originally the M70 Rucksack is designed to be worn with the Swiss M70 Field Jacket so it lacks traditional shoulder straps. We found these rucksacks after learning that a quality surplus operation was adding German army shoulder straps to them allowing the M70 Rucksack to finally be used with out the M70 Field Jacket.
The Swiss M70 Rucksack with Straps is a modernized version of the original Swiss M70 Rucksack. With the Swiss M70 Rucksack being designed to attach to the Swiss M70 Field Jacket, those who previously did not own a field jacket were missing out on this excellent rucksack. One of the most experienced military surplus firms has matched the Swiss M70 Rucksack with German Army straps and has professionally sewn them together.
With this modification, the Swiss M70 Rucksack has now become a rucksack that can be used by anyone. This handy rucksack has the ability to hold a day or two worth of gear, your every day carry items, school books, and much more. The Swiss Alpenflage camouflage pattern is unique enough that it does not immediately invoke a military rucksack when you wear it in public. Add all of this together and you have a military grade rucksack that blends into any setting at a price you won't be able to find anywhere else.
A good rucksack in all, especially for the price. The only problem is that the straps are not necessarily the best thought out for all body types.

Nice work/hunting sack
Review byAlexander Verified Buyer
I recently used mine while I cleared a path through some woods. It works nicely, as it is quiet and holds a decent amount of things, but the straps are very loose and are nonadjustable. I found it slipping down my arms a few times when I didn't buckle the the straps together. For the price, I can't really complain though. Mine arrived seemingly new in good shape.

Not what I expected
Review byCraig Verified Buyer
I ordered this because I wanted it to go along with my Swiss Alpenflage Shirt. Unlike the other reviews my rucksack has seen a lot of use. There are four repaired areas for holes in the faded fabric along with a few seams that will require my hand stitching to ensure the pack will not unravel. Most of the edgings are fraying. But the most disappointing item are the straps are not adjustable. Only the sternum strap can be tighten. On my 5'7" 190lb frame the pack hangs on my lower back. I 'll find a use for it but not for a hiking rucksack. I would not recommend except for the unique camo print.

Good quality and condition. Fabric is soft and quiet should be a great pack for hunting.

great pack

The pack itself was like new. I likr it a lot. The straps were attached too far down, are too long as is. But the sternum strap was a nice touch and unexpected. I'd buy another.

Well made item, wish KeepShooting would make shoulderbags out of these as well...

Great basic pack for light use. The straps are well done and the pack itself is in great shape. After further study of these (I ordered 5) I really wish KeepShooting would take a batch of these and make single strap shoulderbags out of them as thay would be even better than the pack design.. Just my 2 cents. Great item and great price as always. Mike

Good backpack!

a basic but sturdy bag.The straps aren't original (i don't think) and if you cut them off it should still be compatible with m70 style combat jackets.
A great system!
