This is the Swiss Army's M70 rucksack in Alpenflage, the four-color Alpine camouflage of green, red-brown, dark brown and tan the Swiss issued for decades. It carries a day's worth of kit across a main compartment and three outer pockets, and the version here comes with its own canvas shoulder straps rather than relying on the field jacket to carry it. A sensible size for hiking, range days, hunting trips or anyone building out a Swiss uniform set.

Genuine Swiss Issue

This rucksack was issued to the Swiss Army as part of the M70 uniform system, and it was originally built to clip onto the M70 field jacket using metal hooks and D-rings. After that parka left service, the Swiss added standalone shoulder straps so the pack could be worn on its own, which is the setup you get here. The cotton body, the Alpenflage print and the heavy stitching are all original Swiss specification, which makes it a straightforward choice for collectors, reenactors and anyone assembling a Swiss kit.
