This is the KA-BAR USMC fighting knife in its partially serrated version, the fixed-blade pattern most people picture when they think of a Marine Corps knife. The black clip-point blade cuts, pierces and handles rough field chores, and the serrated section near the guard saws through rope, webbing and cord. Features

• Clip-Point Blade — The spine curves down toward the tip, which gives a finer, more controllable point for piercing and detail work.
• Partial Serrations — A row of saw-like teeth on the edge nearest the guard grips and cuts fibrous material such as rope and strapping.

Sheath And Construction

The sheath has KA-BAR, the Eagle, Globe and Anchor emblem and USMC pressed into its face. Brass-colored rivets line both seams to reinforce the stitching against the blade edge. A leather strap with a snap fastener goes over the handle to hold the knife in place, and a small hole at the tip lets you tie the sheath down to your leg or gear so it does not flop when you move.
