These knives are made by Ka-Bar who developed the design for the Marines during World War II and continues to produce this battle tested and combat proven knife today. Included with each Ka-Bar is a leather sheath that is stamped with the USMC logo.

This is a very well made knife. I’m not a knife expert so I can’t comment on steel material or design pros and cons. The knife holds very comfortable in hand and it looks nice. The leather sheath is equally well made. I’ve had it for 3 months. It looks the knife can last a long life. It’s definitely worth the money.

I bought this Kabar knife because I always wanted to own one and being a retired Marine myself, wanted to own the legacy that is Kabar! I love this knife it is very sturdy, strong, and came extremely sharp! If you served in the Corps then you definitely need at least one of these!

The flat pommel is a very useful, but rarely included, feature for bush knives. Knife is quality all the way through but the pommel is what sets it above the rest.

This is an incredible knife. I have the Kraton handled version and I like it much better than the leather (which my father has). It has very good blade retention for a 1095 steel, easy to sharpen and is lightweight. I carry it for personal safety when working in the bush. I also have a TOPS Silent Hero and Esee 6 but this knife is my go to. It would not be my first choice for an all around bush knife but for self defence this is as good as it gets.

The steel if 1095cv - it's not the highest grade steel but it resists corrosion, holds a decent edge (very sharp out of the box) and will sharpen easily. I'd buy it again. Comes with a leather sheath made in Mexico that has the US Marine logo.
