This Vintage German Army Soup Bowl is an authentic World War 2 piece of heavy white porcelain, stamped with the RZM (Reichszeugmeisterei) maker mark used to certify equipment supplied to German forces. The bowls were issued for use by soldiers and civilians during the German occupation of the Baltic states, and every example we ship is hand-sorted to screen out cracks and holes. The deep dish profile was built for hot soups, stews, and field rations served out of unit mess halls.
