556 Magazine Belt Pouch
The 5.56 Magazine Belt Pouch from FAB Defense is a polymer magazine pouch designed to hold one standard AR-15 style magazine. There is a locking style clip mechanism in the bottom of the pouch that keeps your magazine secure until you need it. Designed and built in Israel by FAB Defense for use by members of the Israeli Defense Force counter terrorism team.
Since the invention of the magazine fed rifle, there have been various magazine pouches and methods of carrying extra magazines. With most magazine pouches being constructed from things like nylon, polyester, or cotton this polymer magazine pouch from FAB Defense stands out.
The benefits to a polymer constructed magazine pouch are two fold. First polymer is considerably more durable than even the toughest man made fiber. This means that while this magazine pouch may cost a bit more it will last considerably longer than a soft magazine pouch. Secondly a rigid polymer pouch is going to make quick deployment of your extra magazine easier and more efficient. Pouches made from nylon or polyester do not hold their form like a polymer pouch, so there can be minor shifting of your magazine. When seconds count, you want your magazine to be exactly where you put it for the fastest possible magazine change.
