Exact same as the one it came withHonestly I was skeptical buying an aftermarket mag but this one is legit, fits my Shield 9mm like it was made for it which I guess technically it was since Check-Mate makes mags for a ton of OEM brands anyway. I grabbed two of these so I always have a full 8 rounds ready to go when I head to the range or carry. Loading all 8 rounds is a little tough on the thumbs the first time but nothing a mag loader cant fix. No feeding issues at ALL and the build quality feels SOLID. Great buy for the price.
Identical fit and function to factory magazine
Great value compared to buying direct from S&WLoading all 8 rounds is tough on the thumbs without a loader

Better than most budget alternatives! These Checkmate 8-rounders run reliably, which matters when your life depends on it. Checkmate's one of the big OEM manufacturers in the US, so you know the quality control is there unlike some of the ProMag garbage floating around. Steel spring stays consistent, polymer follower doesn't bind up like some aftermarket stuff I've seen. I've run these at an Adaptive Tactical class and they fed flawlessly through multiple magazine drills.
Made in USA by a one of the best OEM manufacturer
Slightly higher cost than ProMag budget tier but better quality
