Very well made, just wish it was in nato or cotton, this one is acrylic I believe, still good though. Order a smaller size than you think you need, it stretches a lot

My head isn't a cavernous 10ftx9ft or anything. However, i did take my brother's recommendation and got the 7 1/4th and it's perfect. This hat is really well made and will take a beating for sure.

This is my first real boonie hat, and its nice. It has the lighter green that a true khaki is supposed to be (if that matters to you). The brim and head size are nice. This boonie hat is as big as I need it, but I usually don't wear hats so my ears aren't tube sized. This has the smaller military type brim, so I imagine most folks could fit it on. It does not feel or look cheap. I'm a few uses in and it still seems to be holding up well. If you are a pro you may know better hats, but this is still a very good deal.

Just what I wanted for fishing and other hot day outside activities

Exactly what I was looking for. Very light and keeps you cool on a hike in the southwest AZ desert. Fits as expected, adjustable sizing, very good hat. Love it. The one problem with hats in the heat of the desert, where I live, is the bugs, so there is some screen netting over the top, but I had to roll it up to my head, as I'm short and a little guy with big heads has trouble.

Very good quality. Seems to be sturdy enough for some abuse and not cost a lot of money. Would recommend. I wear it for work.

Very sturdy and I expect it to last a long time, I really do. But... The netting that is the "screens" or brim, well, it's stiff. It does the job of keeping out sun and buggs. But if your going to go through undergrowth or anything that requires you head to lowered a bit. There is no comfort in this hat. I've never had a problem with something so small as a net in the way. Not one. This was a minor disappointment to me. The head bands are good, I have rather large craniums, but not too large that it causes issues, if your wondering. My favorite part was the strap that cinches it down to my head. Just good, plain out construction and workmanship. I would and have recommended this to friends and will do so again.

good light weight material. holds up in rain and protects against the sun. very adjustable with chin strap that you can adjust to make hat fit more snug on your head or leave more room for better circulation. the only bad thing about it was i did not get the correct color the picture showed the hat to be in a coyote brown but when i got it it was a tan. i guess it is what it is and if i had known i would of looked for another color or not gotten it but still a great hat and i would get it again in the right color i wanted if it ever goes on sale for that color

Bought this for some desert travels and it worked great. It does a nice job of keeping the heat off your head. Great buy

This item came in pretty quickly and is pretty darn close to my old Army issued boonie. This thing has been around the world with me, keeps the dust out of your eyes, off your head, and out of your lungs.

Just as described. My boy loved this! It kept him cool during our road trip. Wish the adjustable band was a bit longer. Overall a great hat!

It is exactly what it is. An excellent hat for use in warm weather. Price and performance are both excellent. This was my 2nd hat, the one I ordered earlier had a small crack in the brim which was not seen until it was packaged for shipment. The return was a pleasure as the first one was just as described. I do highly recommend.

So I was looking for an outdoor hat, something that could protect my bald head and that wouldn't attract too much attention. So far this seems to be doing the trick. I don't really use the net much, so I don't have much to say about that, but I can't complain. The hat is very sturdy, well made, etc. Only downside I can see so far is that it does attract small amounts of fuzz and lint. Not a big deal, but I can see it being a problem for some people.

Hat looks good, quality looks good, only negative is that as of July, they are not offered in all US military colors as some other hats they sell. Will look elsewhere for USMC OD green, forest green or tan.

This hat is just as described, is comfortable and has good sun protection for face and ears. I am a female who is tall and wears her hair long and like my head covered in the sun. If the sun isn't too strong I can keep it on but if the UV intensity is up, I put on a baseball cap. The large one that is supposed to fit men is comfortable and fits me well. A lot of boonies are supposed to be like this, this one, but not too tight. This is my second one and have had them for years. One got away in a travel. It does keep the bugs out, the big bad bug, mosquito. It is breathable. There is a draw-string that I tie in the back so it is comfortable and secure and will not blow off in a breeze, but the strings aren't the same material and is not heavy. The material seems to have shrunk some, which is common with cotton with sun and laundry, so I just take it out when I wear it and let it relax and lay out. No biggie. I recommend this for sure and this is one that last a lifetime with care and sun, but is light weight and very durable. Update: my first one lasted me 15 years. Wore it every day, hiking, sunning on a boat and beach or at home. Washed in sink with other laundry. It had been soaking wet in ocean and sweat, etc. after some sunning at beach and it still came back and I reused it after air drying for a few days, but finally it started showing wear spots, it had had it's time. It was just time to get another. But this second one, well. After about 5 years it looks used. There is lots of wear in areas that I didn't even wear it that much, but that's not the material, the mesh fabric in between is a lighter weight net type that gets hole and it isn't that good of quality for sunshine. I am going to try to buy a replacement soon, and this time from Pro Patroller in Canada. We'll see. And yes the seller here is very honest, no complaints. My other purchase from Pro Patroller also
