This is the replacement sheath for the Cold Steel Special Forces Shovel (model SC92SF). It covers the sharpened blade so you can carry the shovel on a belt or pack without cutting into your gear, your vehicle upholstery or yourself. The shovel is not included. This listing is for anyone who has lost or worn out the original sheath, or who bought the shovel bare.

• Cor-Ex Construction — Cold Steel builds the body from Cor-Ex, giving the sheath a stiff shell that holds the blade's shape.
• Cordura Exterior — The outer face is Cordura, a heavy, abrasion-resistant nylon fabric widely used on packs and load-bearing gear.
• Two Snap Straps — A pair of webbing straps with metal snaps closes across the open end to keep the blade from sliding out.
• Webbing Belt Loop — A nylon strap at the top lets you hang the sheath on a belt or attach it to a pack.

Build And Fit

The sheath slides over the shovel head from the open end, and the two snap straps fasten across it once the blade is seated. Because it is shaped for the SC92SF, it is not a universal cover, so check your shovel model before ordering. The sheath is manufactured in Taiwan.
