900-Lumen Rifle Light

The Crimson Trace CWL-202 is a weapon-mounted light for rail-equipped long guns, so you can identify what is in front of you before you decide to act. It attaches directly to M1913 Picatinny, KeyMod or M-LOK handguards, which means one light fits most modern AR-15 builds and other railed rifles. You can switch it at the tailcap, or connect the included remote pad and run it from wherever your support hand sits.

Mounting And Fit

The light, its mount and the remote pad all come in one package, so the kit is complete as delivered. Most shooters set the light near the front of the handguard to keep the beam clear of the barrel. They then run the pad's cord back and strap or tape the pad where a thumb or fingers fall naturally. If you prefer a simpler setup, leave the pad off and use the tailcap switch.
