French Issue Helmet Cover
This French Army helmet net camouflage cover breaks up the smooth, rounded outline of a combat helmet, one of the shapes the eye picks out first in the field. Instead of a plain mesh net, it uses layers of cut, leaf-shaped fabric flaps that lift and curl away from the shell. One face is green and the other is brown, so a single cover handles woodland and drier, earth-toned ground. It suits collectors of French kit, reenactors building a period-correct loadout, and anyone who wants a working helmet cover with genuine issue provenance.

- Drawcord Rim Adjustment — An olive drab cord runs through slots around the lower edge to cinch the cover snugly to the shell.
- Rim Retaining Clips — Metal hooks on the cord catch the edge of the helmet rim to hold the cover in place.
- Open-Cut Construction — Gaps between the flaps keep the cover light and let the colors of the opposite face show through for extra variation.
Fitting And Use
The cover is shown fitted to a helmet for display; the helmet itself is not part of this listing. To fit it, pull the cover over the shell with your chosen color facing out, hook the clips under the rim, and draw the cord tight. Because it reverses, switching from green to brown takes only a minute and no extra gear.
