Geiger-2 Geiger Counter - Radiation Dosimeter and Detector

Pocket Radiation Dosimeter

The Mira Safety Geiger-2 is a portable Geiger counter and dosimeter, meaning it reads the radiation level around you and also keeps a running total of the dose you have absorbed over time. It is built for preparedness kits, bug-out bags and emergency evacuation, and it is slim enough to ride in a pocket every day. Readings show on a color screen in microsieverts (µSv), the standard unit for radiation dose to the human body.

Features

• Accumulated Dose Tracking — The unit totals your received dose and displays it over a 30-day window, with a bar graph showing how close you are to a set limit.
• Dose Rate Readout — A live reading in µSv/h (microsieverts per hour) tells you how much radiation is present where you are standing right now.
• Low-Level Sensitivity — Mira Safety rates the detector to register radiation levels as low as 0.999 µSv/h.
• 1.1-Inch Color LCD — A full-color digital display cycles through pages of readings so the numbers you need are visible at a glance.
• Status Indicator Light — An LED at one end shows green under normal conditions and changes color to flag a change in status.
• Two-Button Operation — Two buttons on the lower edge handle every function, so the controls are quick to learn and hard to get wrong under stress.
• Solar-Assisted Battery — A strip of solar cells across the face tops up the rechargeable battery and extends run time away from a power outlet.
• USB Type-C Charging — The battery recharges from the same USB-C cables and power banks used for most current phones.
• IP65 Water Resistance — Rated IP65, meaning sealed against dust and protected from sprayed water, so rain and splashes will not stop it working.
• Shockproof Silicone Case — A rugged silicone housing absorbs impact and protects the electronics from hard drops.

Build And Power

The Geiger-2 is a long, flat black bar with rounded ends and a glossy face that carries the solar strip, status light and screen in one line. The silicone case and IP65 sealing let it go wherever you go, and the combination of solar input and USB-C charging means it does not depend on disposable batteries. Mira Safety designed it for both everyday carry and use in toxic environments.
