MACE Mk-IV TakeDown Extreme Pepper Gel

My boyfriend got into a bit of trouble for a past altercation where someone threw a drink in his face. This can really came in handy and he is super happy to have it on him at all times!

Might seem silly, but I'm very confident that I can use this to keep myself safe when it comes down to it. For my edc belt setup. This seems like a nice gel so it can get up close and cover someone without making a cloud. The safety of the packaging makes it perfect for EDC. I feel more confident wearing this every day knowing I have protection in case of an attack. Not so sure if a windshield waster fluid squirt will hurt as bad as this one though... I like that it also has pepper spray gel, but it does make the grip a bit big for edc. I had to do some modifications to make it look and fit better for me. Not sure if it's going to hold up to wear and tear but, from the construction, I'm pretty confident that it will hold up. The pink handgrip makes me laugh every time I think about what it is, and how the male audience that purchases this is feeling when buying it for the woman in their life. I hope this never gets used on me. But If it does... the assailant will regret it lol

Effective. I don't want to ever have to use it. But it is good to know I have it.

I bought this product for concealed carry, it comes with a clip to clip it to a belt, or purse, for an extra sense of security. This item works very well and a distance of 15 feet, a person with their eyes closed had difficulty recovering from the effects of this product, 10 minutes was about the limit. It was very difficult to recover after that, this gel also can blind a suspect for a very long time and it will be the same as if you shot them in the eyes. This was tested and verified by several officers who tried it out. There are three settings on this item: low, medium, and high. The medium setting is a stronger dose than the high setting. A small portion of the gel was released onto a officers uniform, the gel on the material was still there the next day. This is very good, and can give them that tactical edge when responding to an emergency. There is no leaking from this container and that has been confirmed. Overall, I think this product is great for concealed carry and is also one of the safest choices for a woman.

Good price. Quality is the same as other Mace gel models I've owned. Only negative is how far the trigger extends out from the hand grip, but not a huge deal. Overall I'm satisfied with this purchase.

This mace pepper spray seems to be a very powerful can. I've been reading other reviews of mace pepper gel, which all seem good, and this can' is as good as they said. First it's quite small, which I like, since I don't want to carry a large can in my pocket or on my keys. I feel comfortable when I take it with me, it's hardly bigger than my business card, which makes me feel secure when I'm in crowded places. The pepper gel is odorless and when you test it on a hand (not to the eyes), you can hardly feel it. But if someone would test it to your eyes, then you can're be safe, because this gel doesn't seem have any bad effects. If you'd have your glasses on, you might feel a strange sting in your eyes and if you blink then your eyeballs will be effected and you will start crying and then you can't see and the person will continue gagging you.

Nice and sturdy. It's in a holster which I really like. Recommended.

Effective deterrent in case of animal/human attack. The only real criticism I have is it does not come with an instruction sheet on how to best deploy the mace. There are two models, but I think they should make the one with instruction sheet the more expensive one.

I bought this to use in my car and on my bike. It's compact enough to fit into any pocket or purse. The only downside is it has no holster or belt clip so you have to keep it in your hand.
