MACE Night Defender Pepper Gel - Magnum 3

Pepper Gel With a Light

The Mace Night Defender puts a pepper gel canister and an LED light in one hand, so you can see the person in front of you before you spray. It is a Magnum 3 size unit holding 1.59 oz (45 g) of Mace's Pepper Gel, sized for a nightstand, a car door pocket or a bag. The top is shaped to fill the hand, with a flip-up cover over the actuator.

Features

• Integrated LED Light — A bright LED set into the front of the head lets you light up a doorway, driveway or approaching person from the same grip you would spray from.
• Gel Stream Delivery — Mace Gel Stream Technology fires a thick, sticky gel rather than a fine mist, so less of it drifts in the wind or blows back toward you.
• 10% OC Formula — The label lists approximately 10% oleoresin capsicum (OC, the active compound extracted from hot peppers) at 1.4% capsaicinoids, in a non-flammable carrier.
• Distance Defense Rating — Mace marks this canister for distance defense, meaning it is built to reach a threat before they close to arm's length.
• Flip-Top Safety Cover — A hinged cap sits over the actuator and has to be flipped up before the canister will fire, which guards against accidental discharge.
• Contoured Grip Head — The oversized, sculpted top fills the palm and naturally points the nozzle forward, so aim follows the direction your hand is facing.
• Magnum 3 Canister — The 1.59 oz (45 g) size gives more capacity than a keychain unit while still fitting in one hand.
• Ultimate Pepper Gel Formula — The canister carries Mace's own Pepper Gel formula, with full cautions and use instructions printed on the rear panel.

Build and Handling

The head is molded black polymer with the LED and spray nozzle side by side at the front, and the thumb rests on the flip-top actuator behind them. The black aluminum-style canister carries the Mace pepper spray branding, the Magnum 3 rating and the 45 g net weight on the front. Check your state and local regulations on pepper spray before ordering, and read the printed cautions before carrying it.
