Three-Gun Bore Cleaning

The Otis 3 Gun Trio is a set of three Ripcord bore cleaners, one each for rifle, pistol and shotgun, plus a T-handle to pull them. A Ripcord is a pull-through cleaner: a braided cord you feed in at the breech (the rear of the barrel) and draw out of the muzzle, cleaning the bore (the inside of the barrel) in one pass. The set suits shooters who run all three platforms, whether in 3-gun competition or just across a mixed home collection, and want one compact kit instead of three cleaning rods.

How a Ripcord Works

With the firearm unloaded and the action open, drop the brass tip into the chamber end of the barrel, push it through until it exits the muzzle, then pull the full length of the cord out behind it. The braided body scrubs the bore as it passes, and the T-handle gives you something better to hold than bare cord when the fit is snug.
