The Ruger LCP is built to disappear in a pocket, and its factory magazine is kept short to match. This ProMag magazine trades that concealment for capacity, holding 15 rounds of .380 ACP so you can spend more time shooting and less time reloading at the range. It suits LCP owners who want a high-capacity option for practice sessions, a backup on the nightstand, or a spare in the range bag.

- 15-Round .380 ACP Capacity — The extended body holds 15 rounds of .380 ACP and extends roughly 4.5 inches below the pistol grip.
- Blued High-Carbon Steel Body — The tube is heat-treated high-carbon steel with a blued finish, a controlled oxidation layer that helps resist rust.
- Chrome-Silicon Spring — A heat-treated chrome-silicon wire spring is used to hold its tension through repeated loading and unloading.
- Zytel Polymer Follower — The follower, the platform that pushes each round up into position, is molded from black DuPont Zytel-based polymer.
- Witness Holes — Five round holes down the back of the body let you check at a glance how many rounds are loaded.
- Textured Grip Sleeve — A dimpled polymer sleeve wraps the middle of the magazine, giving your hand a textured surface to hold.
- Extended Base Plate — The black polymer base plate has a forward finger lip and closes off the bottom of the tube.
- Made In USA — ProMag manufactures this magazine in the United States under part number RUG-A21.
Fit And Construction
This magazine fits the original Ruger LCP chambered in .380 ACP. It does not fit the Ruger LCP II, which uses a different magazine, so check your model before ordering. The finish is black throughout, with a steel body, polymer follower and base plate, and the ProMag logo stamped near the bottom. It weighs about 0.38 lb (172 g) empty.

Great upgrade after break-inPicked this up for range days on my LCP since the stock 6-rounders get old fast. It's steel construction with that chrome-silicon spring and polymer follower, holds 15 rounds of .380 like Federal American Eagle or Blazer Brass without issue once you work past the stiff springs. Loaded it to full capacity the first time and it fought me a bit, but after about 200 rounds it smoothed out. Compared to the Ruger OEM mags this one gives way more ammo for the money though fitment took a little fiddling at first. Ran it through 500 rounds total with only a couple early failures to feed that sorted themselves out.

Does Its JobI bought this strictly for range days and honestly its a blast, way more fun loading up 15 rounds than swapping that little stock mag every 6 shots. First time out the spring was SO stiff I could barely load past round 12 or 13 but after a few range sessions it loosened right up and feeds fine now. Yeah its not something you'd carry concealed cause it sticks way out the bottom of the grip but thats not what I got it for, I just wanted to plink around without constant reloading and it does exactly that. Backed by a lifetime warranty too which gave me a little peace of mind.

Great Extended Mag For Range DaysI know Promag gets alot of hate but this one has been solid for me. 300+ rounds and counting, mix of FMJ and some Hornady Critical Defense, not a single FTF or FTE. Having 15 rounds in a pocket gun is hilarious and awesome at the same time. Makes it way easier to practice with since your not reloading every 6 shots.

Wife said 'why do you need MORE bullets'... now she gets itOkay so full disclosure i bought this on impulse after seeing a YouTube video at like 2am. My wife was NOT happy when she saw the credit card statement lol. But here's the thing, we took the LCP and this big ol' mag to the range last weekend and she actually changed her tune. We were shooting PMC Bronze and this thing just kept going. She's got smaller hands so the extra grip length actually helped her control the gun better (who knew?). The blued steel looks pretty sharp too, matches the pistol nice. She still makes fun of me for the 'please remember our mags are garbage' joke i read on the forums, but honestly this one worked great for us. Not saying it's perfect for everyone but for plinking and having fun, it's a hoot. Her dad wants one now too so i guess i'm buying another one for Father's Day. Circle of life i guess.
