Solid Patch Platform, Better Than Condor IMOIve been through probably a dozen operator caps at this point... Condor, 5.11, random Amazon brands, and I keep coming back to Rothco for the price-to-quality ratio. The coyote brown on this one is a true CB, not that weird tan-ish color some companies pass off as coyote. Three loop fields - front for morale patches, top for IR, and back for name tape - all properly stitched down. The 55/45 cotton-poly blend feels decent, maybe not as beefy as the ripstop multicam version but totally fine for range days and larping around the property. Four reinforced vent holes on top actually help on hot days. My one gripe is the plastic buckle on the adjustment strap feels a little cheap... like it might snap if you're rough with it. But for what, $12? Can't really complain. The front loop area is about 3.5 x 2 inches which fits most standard flag patches perfectly.
True coyote brown color,Three well-stitched loop fields for patches,Great value for the price
Plastic adjustment buckle feels flimsy,Not as thick as the ripstop version,Runs a touch small if you have a big head
