US Army 40mm Grenade Molle Pouch - ACU

Issued 40mm Round Pouch

This is the US Army's single 40mm grenade pouch, built to carry one 40mm high explosive round on a soldier's load-bearing gear. It mounts by MOLLE, the grid of nylon webbing loops used on military vests and packs, so it sits wherever you want it. It is issued gear under NSN 8465-01-524-7625, the National Stock Number the military uses to catalogue its own equipment, and it suits collectors, reenactors and anyone building out an ACU-era loadout.

Features

• Single 40mm Capacity — The pouch is sized for one 40mm high explosive grenade, as the label on the back confirms.
• Cordura Nylon Construction — Cordura is a heavy, abrasion-resistant nylon fabric widely used in military load-carrying equipment.
• ACU Digital Camouflage — The body is printed in the Army's Universal Camouflage Pattern, the grey-green pixelated scheme of the ACU uniform, with matching foliage-toned webbing trim.
• Snap-Secured Top Flap — A webbing flap folds over the opening and fastens with a snap to keep the round in place.
• MOLLE II Mounting Strap — A single strap on the back weaves through the PALS webbing rows on your vest or pack and closes with a snap at the bottom.
• FLC Vest Compatible — It fits the Army's FLC (Fighting Load Carrier) vest and most other MOLLE-equipped tactical gear.
• Compact Tapered Body — It measures about 4 x 3 x 2 inches, small enough to tuck in beside magazine pouches.
• Made In USA — Manufactured in the United States by The Specialty Group for military contract.

Issue Specification

The pouch belongs to the US Army's MOLLE II load-carrying system and was made to the government's own specification, which is why its stitching, webbing and hardware match the rest of the issue kit. A printed label on the back identifies it as the 40mm single pouch. Because it carries a real NSN and contractor pedigree, it is the correct piece for anyone assembling an authentic ACU-period grenadier rig.
