- Matte Black Finish — Phosphate-style matte black coating resists corrosion, cuts glare, and matches standard mil-spec furniture.
- Recoil and Muzzle Rise Reduction — Top-vented port design biases gas upward to help keep the front sight on target during rapid follow-up shots.
- Barrel Length Extension — Approximately 1.75" overall length, useful for pin-and-weld applications to bring a 14.5" barrel to a 16" non-NFA configuration.
- Easy Installation — Threads on with a standard 1/2" wrench and a crush washer or peel washer (sold separately) for proper indexing and torque.
- Broad Platform Compatibility — Fits M16A2/A3/A4, M4/M4A1 carbines, and any AR-15 variant chambered in 5.56 NATO or .223 Remington.

Old StandardThere's a reason that the A2 flash hider has lasted as long as it has: it works. Sure, there are newer flash hiders that will do the job just a teeny weenie little bit better, but it's diminishing returns on your money. The A2 will help you conceal your position during night firing. And, unlike an A1 flash hider, it won't kick up a lot of dust if you're firing prone.
