The CMMG AR-15 Survival Kit puts the small parts most likely to wear, break or vanish onto a workbench in one package. It covers the bolt group, the fire control group (the trigger, hammer and disconnector assembly) and the receiver pins, so a lost spring or cracked extractor does not take your rifle out of service while you wait on an order. It suits owners who keep their rifle running themselves, as well as anyone building a range bag or a long-term spares stash.

• Bolt Group Spares — A firing pin, cam pin, extractor with its spring and pin, and an extractor buffer cover the bolt parts that see the most heat and stress.
• Gas Rings — Three split steel rings seal the bolt inside the carrier so gas pressure cycles the action reliably.
• Firing Pin Retainer — A cotter-style retaining pin holds the firing pin in the carrier and is easy to lose during cleaning.

Fit And Compatibility

The kit fits mil-spec AR-15, M16 and M4 pattern rifles and works with rifles chambered in 5.56mm, .223 Remington and 300 Blackout. Because the parts follow military dimensions, they drop into standard receivers and bolt carrier groups without fitting. Rifles with proprietary bolts or non-standard trigger groups may need their own maker's parts.
