Description
Compact D2 Pocket Knife
The ESEE Churp is a small folding knife built for everyday cutting: opening boxes, trimming cord, slicing food and handling camp chores. It closes to 3.63 inches and weighs about 2.2 oz, so it rides in a pocket without dragging. It suits anyone who wants a capable, low-profile knife over a large tactical folder.
Features
- D2 Tool Steel Blade — D2 is a high-carbon tool steel known for holding an edge well, finished here in a clean satin polish.
- 2.63-Inch Spear-Point Profile — The point sits near the centerline of the blade, giving good control for detail cuts and piercing.
- Brown Canvas Micarta Scales — Micarta is layers of canvas bonded in resin, which gives a textured grip that stays secure when your hands are wet.
- Stainless Steel Liner Lock — A spring steel leaf inside the handle snaps behind the blade when it opens and holds it in place until you push it aside to close.
- Nail Nick Opener — A groove cut into the blade lets you catch it with a thumbnail and swing it open in the traditional way.
- Reversible Pocket Clip — The stainless steel clip supports both tip-up and tip-down carry, so you can set it up the way you prefer.
- Lanyard Hole — A hole at the butt of the handle takes a lanyard or fob for easier retrieval from a pocket or pack.
- Lightweight Build — At 0.14 lb (about 2.2 oz) and 3.63 inches closed, it disappears in a pocket for daily carry.
Build And Carry
The Churp pairs a satin D2 blade with brown canvas Micarta handle scales over a stainless steel liner, held together with Torx fasteners. The blade carries the Randall's Adventure & Training School of Survival logo. It is made in China to ESEE's design.
