Flat-Pack Emergency Stove

The Esbit Emergency Stove is a single sheet of stamped metal that folds up into a small stand for a cup or pot, with a solid fuel tablet burning underneath. It comes with three fuel tablets, so it is ready to heat water or warm food straight out of the pack. Folded down, it lies flat enough to slip into a vehicle kit, a bug-out bag or the back of a first aid pouch, where it costs almost no space until you need hot water.

Setup And Use

Setup is a matter of folding the side panels and arms up along their cut lines until the stove stands as an open box. Set a tablet on the recessed platform, light it, and place your cup or pot across the raised arms. When you are done and the metal has cooled, the sheet folds back down flat for the next time.
