Description
The Ka-Bar Skeleton Knife is a lightweight and capable blade designed by Ka-Bar. With the skeleton design allowing the knife to be worn as a neck knife or use the included sheath to conceal the Skeleton in your pocket or pack you can carry the Skeleton where you need it most. The stainless steel blade will remain ready to serve no matter how exposed it becomes to the elements. You will appreciate the balance and performance that comes from the Skeleton, which is a knife that belongs in every collection.
This knife is awesome. I knew it was small but it locks in the case very well. It has 2 click lock settings and both are great. You can use survival cord to make a handle. They make more skeleton KBAR knives and I plan to buy them. So I give 5 stars.

Easiest skeletonized handle to wrap
Review byLatravious F.
For 12$ you can’t beat this handy little knife. The “neck” sheath is okay but with a little effort and some leather you can make this into an amazing little EDC. Did I mention how easy it was to wrap the handle? The geometry lends itself to nice symmetrical patterns. You can also easily add a lanyard at the end of your wrap to accommodate larger hands (I’m 6’3”). Would recommend anytime!

Unusable sheath
Review byDamian V.
I could barely get it into the sheath. Then, having gotten it in, I couldn't get it out without prying the sheath apart with screwdrivers.

There isn't enough room for the flexible parts of the sheath to bend to let the knife out. And the parts of the knife which have to push past the bumps are too sharp. It's a terrible design.

Designed for smaller hands
Review byMeyer B.
The handle is too small for my hand; but, the knife I s sturdy, light weight, and sharp. I put this Iife in my trauma bag and it will work for that use. I would not use for diving or bushcraft as the knife must feel comfortable in your hand, and my hands are just too large fir this to be practical for me. I have the original full tang Ka-bar and love it. I still put this little skeleton knife through some hard tests and it survived me so if you have a smaller hand this could be a fantastic knife for you. I cut open many bags of cement, mulch, and gravel. Cut down about 30 appliance boxes and a small tree (about 6-7 inch diameter). I also used it to pry open some old and stubborn paint cans. I was impressed with it’s durability having snapped similar lives in have doing that same thing. After about a month of hard use, this knife remained sharp without honing the edge. When I did sharpen the knife before retiring it to my Trauma bag, this knife went back to that shave-the-hairs-off-your-face factory sharpness that it arrived in. The black coating does wear off and more so depending on what you’re cutting or scraping it against.

Great knife. Very discreet
Review byCharlton Z.
I love this knife. Very flat, very sharp. You could hide it on your forearm under a bandage or strap/tape it on your body without any noticeable bulges (if that's what you wanted to do with it).

Good value.

Good small boot knife
Review byDemetra N.
A small, Chinese made Ka-Bar boot knife. It’s not bad at all really and will do the job in a pinch. Comes relatively sharp, but you’ll want to wrap the handle in cord or something as it’s very small.

The knife is very small, and so is the handle. This isn’t an every day use knife, this is a boot knife or a med kit knife.

SAVE YOUR MONEY
Review byKenyatta V.
I actually bought both of these cheap Chinese Kabar kneck knives and honestly I can think of much better ways to waste $10! So after spending a half hour putting a usable edge on them and cut a few things it seems to hold "okay" but then the second you stick either into the plastic sheath they come with the edge becomes blunted flat literally... So decent idea, poor execution and and even worse sheath I cannot believe Kabar put their name on these!

The extra length of the blade makes this easy

good product
Review byOdie B.
looking at earlier reviews clearly some QA problems which have now been resolved. knife is sharp, well finished and fits the sheath well with good retention and no risk of falling out. Suitable as a general purpose about the camp site or house knife for small jobs and would also make a capable last ditch self defense device if worn under the shirt.

If you like blood, buy a knife with a known sheath problem.
Review byVasiliy I.
Take the sheath and throw it away and find another way to cover the blade. The sheath will come loose right out of the package and get loose enough to let the knife fall out. It’s very sharp and you will create a hazard for yourself or someone else. I’ll be really surprised if this review actually makes it onto Amazon. I hope you all realize that we are turning one man into an egomaniacal ultra rich POS. Yes, I realize I have made this mistake myself but after doing some research about him, the way he treats employees and being one of the lucky few to profit greatly from Covid I’ll go to great lengths to buy elsewhere.

Your buying a small discreet knife. Know this and all should be good.
Review byHarrell P.
This little knife is great. By the looks of things, people are expecting a larger knife when it comes. The small size and slim profile of this knife is its main selling point for me though. Sturdy and sharp but very slim and discreet also. A great knife. So great in fact, I lost the sheath for one and just actually bought another knife instead. Both items were delivered in perfect condition. The sheath is a little tight at first but ultimately, that's what keeps it held securely.

Handy little boot knife
Review byArtavis F.
I threaded my boot lace through the eyelet in the sheath, with the upper laces holding the ready secure on the tongue of my boot. I don't even know it's there. Very lightweight. Sturdiness remains to be seen...
