Bought it as a joke, now it's my favorite range toyMy buddy kept saying i needed more 'firepower' at our monthly range days and i caved... bought this thing on a total whim. Figured it'd be a gimmick and end up in a drawer. Well i was wrong, the look on everyone's faces the first time i slapped this drum in and ran 60 rounds downrange without stopping was absolutely worth every penny. My AR is a basic PSA mid-length in 5.56 and the mag seated fine after maybe the second or third try it's a little stiff at first but nothing crazy. We ran Federal American Eagle and some Blazer Brass through it and honestly had maybe two hiccups over probably 200 rounds across a couple of range trips, which for a 100-round drum at this price is way better than
Pure fun factor
Initial insertion is stiff, takes a few sessions to break in
