Features
- Compact Wrist-Mounted Design — Straps directly to your wrist for hands-free navigation while you keep both hands on trekking poles, paddles, or a rifle.
- Liquid-Filled Capsule — Damped fluid capsule settles the needle fast and holds a steady bearing even on the move over rough terrain.
- Northern Hemisphere Balancing — Compass card is balanced for the Northern Hemisphere so the needle tracks true without dragging or sticking.
- Luminescent Compass Card — Glow-in-the-dark markings let you read your heading in low light and after dark once charged by ambient light.
- Side-Reading Window — Dedicated side window lets you take and hold a bearing while sighting toward a distant landmark or target.
- Ratcheting Directional Bezel — Positive-click rotating bezel sets your desired direction and stays locked so your heading won't drift.
- Adjustable Velcro Strap — 12 in (31 cm) hook-and-loop strap fits over bare wrists, gloves, or jacket sleeves and detaches for map work.
- Wide Operating Range — Rated from -30°C to +60°C (-22°F to +140°F) and water resistant for use across seasons and conditions.
- No Battery Required — Fully mechanical operation means it's always ready with nothing to charge or replace in the field.
- Made in Finland — Built by Suunto with the fit and finish that put this compass on military NSN rolls worldwide.

hands-free nav!Got this for backpacking and general outdoors stuff and its been great. The velcro wristband is comfortable enough to wear all day and I like having both hands free vs holding a baseplate compass constantly. Liquid fill is smooth, no bubbles after about 3 months of regular use in the Georgia humidity and rain. The luminous card is handy for dusk navigation, you do need to charge it with a light source first but it stays readable for a good while. Is it as precise as a full baseplate compass? No. But for quick cardinal reference and rough bearings on a trail it gets the job done. At this price point I really can't complain, its built like a tank and waterproof which is more than I can say for some other wrist compasses I've tried.
Comfortable velcro strap, truly hands-free,Waterproof and durable in rough weather,Good value for the price
Luminous card needs regular light charging
