There are many commercial backpacks that are touted as being 3-day assault packs yet there is only one true assault pack. This authentic US military assault pack has all of the features and design elements that the US military developed based on the combat experience and feedback from soldiers.
The US Military MOLLE II system is a combat tested and battle proven system for soldiers to carry gear. This assault pack is born from this system where it was used with the MOLLE II main pack or can be worn standalone for easier movement away from base camp. With a familiar backpack style design the use of the Assault Pack as a standalone carry option quickly became popular with soldiers who were issued this pack.
