Finally a mat worth keeping aroundBeen cleaning my 1911 on a folded up towel for years and honestly cant believe I waited this long to get one of these. Laid it out on my workbench and had all my parts spread out with PLENTY of room left over for my cleaning rods and patches, which was a nice surprise for an 11x17. The parts diagram printed right on it is super handy when I forget the reassembly order after a deep clean, which happens more than Id like to admit. Only thing I noticed is it had a slight rubbery smell right out of the package but that went away after a day or two.

Nice mat.Everyone should have one of these. It is a really nice mat to hold any gun parts as you clean or work on a firearm, as well as a great 1911 parts and assembly reference. If you are a 1911 expert you need one as a pride thing. If you are a 1911 owner but not an expert, you need one as a parts guide. If you are not a 1911 owner, you need to be.

its like a parts mapThis mat is perfect as an exploded view of my 1911. Weather its Colt or a copy. Perfect for total take down for cleaning or rebuild. Also good as parts recognition.
