The review by John W on here really says it all. If you own one of these guns , regardless of your knowledge of the M1 /M1A you should have one of these for quick reference or if your like me it will help you to get to know about your gun and the parts that make it go boom.

Practical and Unique

Tough, resilient, and, apparently impervious to most chemicals (Hoppes #9, copper solvent, Eezox, hi-temp grease, acetone, and petroleum based oils thus far). The "satin" finish eases spotting of dribs, drabs, and debris making pre and post clean-up a cinch, just a cople of swipes with damp "tack" cloth. Of course my M-14SA was first to be seviced on it, and although I need no reassembly aids, it would certainly be the only "bench coach" needed by one new to the worlds finest "Battle Rifle!
