M14/M1A TekMat
The M14/M1A TekMat is a 12" x 36" long-gun cleaning mat built specifically for the M14 rifle and Springfield Armory M1A. The full-length surface is printed with a detailed parts schematic and platform history, giving you a working reference right under the rifle as you strip it down. A soft thermoplastic fiber top absorbs solvents and oils while the vulcanized rubber backing locks the mat to your bench. At 1/8" thick with stitched edges and machine-washable construction, it's a practical bench mat for any M14/M1A owner who handles their own maintenance.

Great for cleaning.This mat is exactly what I needed for cleaning my M14. It's big enough to hold all the parts, and the diagram is super helpful for remembering where everything goes. It also keeps my workbench clean from all the oils.

Excellent buyThe review by John W on here really says it all. If you own one of these guns , regardless of your knowledge of the M1 /M1A you should have one of these for quick reference or if your like me it will help you to get to know about your gun and the parts that make it go boom.

Practical and UniqueTough, resilient, and, apparently impervious to most chemicals (Hoppes #9, copper solvent, Eezox, hi-temp grease, acetone, and petroleum based oils thus far). The "satin" finish eases spotting of dribs, drabs, and debris making pre and post clean-up a cinch, just a cople of swipes with damp "tack" cloth. Of course my M-14SA was first to be seviced on it, and although I need no reassembly aids, it would certainly be the only "bench coach" needed by one new to the worlds finest "Battle Rifle!
