Beats the Korean reprosI've been running a mix of mags in my Inland M1, mostly those cheap Korean 15-rounders and a couple old USGI that are beat to heck. The Korean ones always gave me nose-dive jams on the last 2 rounds, drove me nuts. Picked up one of these United Defense mags to test and honestly it's night and day. The steel feels thicker, the bluing is even and deep, and it locks in with zero wobble unlike the imports that rattle around. Ran 150 rounds through it yesterday, not a single hiccup. Gonna order 3 more and retire the junk mags.
WAY BETTER than the Korean repros!
Wish it was parkerized

Bought four, all goodPicked up four of these for plinking days. All four feed great and lock up solid. No complaints for the money.

Proper USGI-specFinally a new-production mag that actually looks and runs like the originals we had in the armory. Got this for my '43 Saginaw and it dropped in like it was meant to be there no wobble, no drag, feeds smooth as butter. The follower geometry is correct M1-pattern (not the M2 square style some repros use). I've seen too many KCI mags at the range that run loose in the magwell or have feed lips that'll slice your thumb open loading. This United Defense mag has proper heat-treated steel and clean stampings, not that soft commercial garbage. Took it through a two-day carbine class, ran 400+ rounds, zero malfunctions. For twenty bucks more than the Korean stuff you're getting real mil-spec construction. Worth every penny.
Clean feed lips that don't shred your thumbs

Best Replacement for My Old M1I swapped out my worn out original mags with these new MIL‑SPEC mags and the difference is night and day. The steel body feels rock solid and the rounds feed perfectly even after a 500‑round stress test.
Excellent reliability under heavy use

Beats my tired old surplus magsBeen shooting an M1 carbine for years and my old GI mags finally started having weak springs and feeding issues so I grabbed a couple of these. Right out of the box the finish looks good and it dropped right into the mag well no fuss. Took it to the range last weekend and it fed all 15 every time, no jams. Only thing is loading those last couple rounds is a fight because the .30 carbine round is long and skinny so you really gotta push em straight or they wanna tip. Other than that real happy with it.
Feeds reliable right out of the box
Last couple rounds are hard to load
