Folding AR Field Tool

The Wheeler Engineering Compact AR Tool from the Delta Series packs the drivers and scrapers an AR-15 owner reaches for most into one folding stainless steel body. It is built for work away from the bench: tightening an optic mount at the range, scraping carbon off a bolt between strings, or snugging a loose screw on a handguard. Shooters who carry an AR in a truck, a range bag or a duty kit can keep it on the belt in its nylon sheath instead of hauling a toolbox.

Build and Carry

Two Torx-head pivot screws hold the tool stacks between stainless side plates, and the Wheeler Engineering and Delta Series markings are laser-etched on the handle. Folded, the tool forms a flat, compact block that slides into the included sheath. It is laid out around the AR-15 platform, though the Torx, hex and screwdriver bits are just as useful on optics, mounts and other rifles.
