Exact mil-spec replacement, better than AndersonOkay so I was building out a new upper and lost the tiny spring that came with my kit, which happens everytime honestly. I ordered this United Defense spring to replace it and its definately a step up in finish compared to the standard Anderson springs ive used in the past. The black phosphate coating is even and it dropped right into the port cover hinge pin with no fitting required. The tension is super crisp and snaps the dust cover open exactly when the bolt goes back. Only small gripe is the spring legs are a little sharp on the ends so be carefull you dont scratch your receiver putting it in but honestly thats normal for these. Definately recomend keeping a couple spares in your range bag.
