Tru-Spec is the tactical-apparel brand of Atlanco, a company founded in 1950 by Jack Zaglin as the Atlanta Army Navy Supply Company in Marietta, Georgia. Atlanco started as a surplus distributor, then moved into in-house manufacturing in 1996 and built Tru-Spec into a go-to supplier of tactical uniforms for law enforcement and public safety. Its sister brand, 5ive Star Gear, followed around 2010 to cover field and tactical equipment. In May 2024, both brands were acquired by Tru-Spec Global LLC and relocated to Kings Mountain, North Carolina. That heritage — surplus roots plus decades of making uniforms to a duty standard — is what you’re buying into with the brand.

The 24-7 Series is the pant that made Tru-Spec a household name in the tactical world — an engineered fit that works on or off duty, with a comfortable slider waistband, deep cargo pockets sized to ride a concealed handgun, and reinforced knees with pad pockets. The 24-7 Ascent pant is the lightweight stretch-ripstop version, offered in coyote, khaki, and ranger green alongside black.
