Bundeswehr G3 Mag Pouch
This is the German Army double magazine pouch made for the HK G3, the 7.62x51mm battle rifle the Bundeswehr carried for decades. It holds two 20-round G3 magazines side by side, each under its own hinged flap, so a soldier could reload from the belt without fumbling. G3 owners use it to carry spare magazines, and collectors and reenactors use it to complete a period German load-out.

- Two-Cell Layout — Two separate compartments sit side by side, each sized for a single magazine.
- Fits 20-Round G3 Magazines — Each cell takes a standard 20-round 7.62x51mm NATO magazine for the HK G3 rifle.
- Molded Rigid Polymer Body — The shell is molded from stiff plastic that holds its shape, so magazines slide in and out easily and the pouch does not sag when empty.
- Strap And Stud Closure — A strap molded into each flap runs down the front and hooks over a cone-shaped stud near the base, keeping the magazine in place.
- Ribbed Pull Tabs — A textured tab at the end of each strap gives your thumb something to grip, even with gloves on.
- Independent Flaps — Each cell opens on its own, so you can pull one magazine while the other stays closed.
- OD Green Finish — The olive drab color matches German Army issue equipment of the G3 era.
Original Issue Design
The Bundeswehr designed this pouch around a single job: carrying G3 magazines securely in the field. The whole body is molded plastic, including the flaps and their closure straps, so there are no snaps or buckles to fail. If you run a G3 or a G3-pattern rifle, or you are building an authentic German Army kit, this is the pouch that was actually issued with the rifle.

Already planning a second orderThese pouches are deceptively versatile listed for G3 mags but swallow FAL and M1A/M14 magazines with room to spare. The thick, rugged plastic feels battle-tested right out of the package, and at this price point, they’re a no-brainer for bulk buyers. Already planning a second order durable, functional, and adaptable.

OK except for odorWorks great for 308 Pmags, holds snug, keeps them close to body. Only complaint is my 2 came with a really strong musty odor. I'm well use to the military storage odor. This was more of a strong musty (mold) smell. Been trying to get it out to no avail. Its less now,(3weeks)- seems to be in the rubber.
