I'm happy with it for what I paid.Put this on my Springfield M1A last weekend and it fit pretty good, had to do a little filing on the tab to get it to seat right but nothing major. The fiberglass feels way sturdier than the synthetic one that came on the rifle from the factory.

Solid USGI fit on my M1ADropped this fiberglass handguard on my M1A and it looks just like the ones I remember from the service, dense and ribbed the right way. Took a little fussing at the front band to seat it clean but once its on it feels solid. Shot about a hundred rounds at the range last weekend and it held up fine, though it does start warming up pretty quick if you keep shooting. Only real nitpick is after a longer string it gets HOT enough you notice it, nothing crazy but I wish it stayed cooler. Still does what its supposed to and the authentic surplus feel is worth it for me.

Excellent Replacement!This handguard is a perfect fit for my M1A. The fiberglass construction makes it lightweight and durable. Shooting feels more comfortable now with this upgrade. Highly recommend it!

Cheap fix worked greatMy buddy busted his handguard at the range so I grabbed him this as a gift. He said it went on no problem and looks correct on his rifle. For the price you really cant beat it.

Just like the originalsThrew this on my LRB receiver M14 and it looks and feels exactly like the ones I used in service. The handguard is dense and should hold up fine. I've only shot about 100 rounds so far but it's already warming up nicely. Would buy again.
