Good magSpent 22 years with the Army and carried an M14 before they transitioned most of us over to the M16. When I picked up my M1A a few years back I started collecting mags and these are the ones I keep going back to. Lock-up is solid, front catch seats right where it should, rear latch snaps in clean. Mine came in great shape, parkerizing looked fresh and even, no dings or rough spots on the feed lips. Only reason I grabbed the 5-rounder is I take this rifle out to Wyoming every fall for elk and the outfitter prefers you run low-cap anyway. Fed all 5 rounds without a hiccup, no nose-diving, no stovepipes. The anti-tilt follower is the right call on a short mag like this where the spring geometry gets a little weird. Already ordered two more
Dead-on USGI spec
Only 5 rounds obviously, but thats the whole point

Mag worked as supposed to and I will buy another!After trying several different brands of M14 magazines this one stands out as the best in terms of build quality and reliability. It locks into my M1A with a satisfying click and cycles both 7.62x51 and .308 Winchester ammunition smoothly through all 5 rounds every single time.

Perfect flush fit for prone shootingFinally found a mag that doesn't dig into the bench when I'm shooting. The flush fit design is exactly what I needed for my prone position at the range. Feeds smooth every single time and locks in solid. Been running it for about two months now with zero issues.
Feeds reliably every round
They can be hard to get in at first. Same with Springfields once you get the hand of it no problems.

Buy the 3, totally worth itI grabbed the 3 deal because the 20 percent savings made it a no brainer and honestly I would have regretted only buying one. Having three of these lets me pre load them before a range session so im not fumbling around loading magazines between strings of fire during my precision practice. The quality is excellent and they fit my M1A perfectly with a satisfying click when they seat. Every round feeds smooth and the bolt locks back on the last round every time which tells me the follower and spring are built correctly. These magazines feel just as well made as the full size 20 rounders but in a much more practical package for serious shooting. If you own an M1A and do any kind of precision or hunting work you need these in your range bag.
